Despite its off-putting title, Selfsex, which refers more to loneliness and concentrating too much on the self, this album showcased a great evolution of Brandon Ditto’s music. Unfortunately, the music was not quite good enough to be proud of.

Brandon Ditto blazed onto the scene with some of the earliest use of auto-tune (paving the way for many other pop artists). This album was widely satire and meant to be a sort of demented form of pop music. Because no filter was used with regards to the lyrical content, Brandon Ditto himself can barely listen to it anymore without cringing.
